Crocuses after The Beast From The East by phil_howcroft

Crocuses after The Beast From The East

Photographed on Sunday as the snow and ice of The Beast From the East gradually melted away.

3 days earlier they were buried under freezing snow and drifts

Nature is resilient and beautiful

Fav. A stunning shot, Phil. Great clarity indeed. I got the old lenses from my brother-in-law. Yesterday I ordered an adapter so I could mount them on my camera. Hope it will work.

Lovely to see some signs of spring popping their heads up above the snow.
Looks as if they've had a bit of a battle! Nicely done.

I am pleased to see purple crocuses appearing, harbingers of spring. Like all the little water droplets.
