My daughter Claire was bridesmaid to her "best friend" Sarah yesterday.
Eagle eyed among you may recognise Sarah as she was a bridesmaid for Claire, when Claire got married in March this year.
They are lifelong friends, having met when they were at school together.
Jane, myself and my other daughter Kirsty, went to the venue to watch Sarah and the bridesmaid team enter the venue.
I took my camera with me to take some pre wedding shots.
Claire spotted us outside the venue and said we could go into Sarah's hotel room to take some pics.
I took a few pictures of Sarah and this is probably one of my faves. I asked Sarah to look towards the room window (it was quite dark in the room) to get some catchlights in her eyes.
This is hand held at 1/30th of a second , which is a really low shutter speed, but I think the quality of the image speaks for itself and for Sarah.
It has caught the detail on the dress and lovely skin tones.
I also remembered to tilt the camera a little to get a nice diagonal on Sarah's eyes to give the photo even more impact.

I edited and emailed the photos to Claire when we got home from the venue (and she forwarded them to Sarah). Sarah and her family were really pleased with the pictures.
