Hello Mate

The Delivery Man's Dog

My wife and daughter and our Granddaughter were walking to our other daughters for a socially distanced walk.

It's a busy time for parcel deliveries and this white van man was driving on my daughters estate.

His dog eyeballed our little whippet, Ruby and gave her a bark and stare.

I shouted to the driver "Can I photograph your dog" (I always take my camera on a walk, even an urban walk)

"Go ahead, no problems"

So I approached his van and dog ...

"Hello Mate Can I take you picture"

He struck up a pose and give me a bark !

A couple of quick shots and this is what I ended up with.

I had the ISO quite high (by accident) as I'd been shooting some indoor shots earlier, so it is a little noisy.

Cracking shot though , it just makes me smile !

I am not too sure what breed of dog it is, but it had a big loud bark !

@beryl beryl he had a lead on which was secured to the van so he couldn't jump out, you should have seen him sticking his head out as they drove up the road :)

I like the pose. Great one-sided conversation with the dog. This one looks ok but I don't trust these dogs since I was attacked and bitten in the arm by one similar to this one.
