My wife and whippet (Jane and Ruby) on a "local lockdown walk / exercise" as part of the current "Stay at Home" rules from the government.
In the morning we walked into Arnold for some "essential shopping". We had lunch and then went on a local walk along the Colliers Path / Colliers Plod. This is officially 1.3 km from our house so ticks the government instruction of "stay local".

Not sure what they mean by local - I thought it was just round the block! Mind you the 'block' could be 1.3km around! Nice low winter sun for your walk!
Ah but if you follow the rules to the letter Phil you’re only supposed to go out for exercise once a day! You met no one else so how can that be wrong? Can you go out twice a day on the allowed rules...I have lost track. It’s like the sitting & having a coffee constitutes a picnic...we have to all do what we know is sensible in our own minds.
Great walking weather!
@happypat I feel like I am rubbing my head and patting my stomach with the rules on exercise......in fact, the rules on anything! Doing my best and being hyper cautious but it is oh so confusing.
Looks a lovely path for a wander. We are only walking from our door and back again around here too. Mostly built up but a tiny bit of farmland and woodland close by, though we now know every inch of it after so long doing this!
Very nice capture, Phil. I like the composition and your wife with Ruby - of course Ruby has to be there with you. Take care my friend and stay safe. I am out and about everyday of the week but always make sure I go to places where I will not see a single person around.
You have a lovely place for a local walk. I like the composition very much and glad you had some bright weather for your exercise. I wasn't sure that 'local' had yet been properly defined.

thanks everyone for your fabulous comments, today's "stay local" is a bit diffferent
