100 Strangers : Round 3 : No. 255 : Stephen (Tiggz Dat Author)
My wife and daughters decided they were going to have a pedicure early on Saturday, so Matt, my son in law asked me if I wanted to go to Stonebridge City Farm, with him and our granddaughter, while the ladies got their feet done.
As we walked into the city centre, Matt nipped into Primark to return some jeans, so I pushed Willow in her pram around the market square. In the centre of the market square their was a caravan, boat, replica jail and gazebo.
The caravan and it’s accessories belonged to Stephen or as he prefers to be called Tiggz Dat Author.
Tiggz Dat Author had parked up his caravan, boat and replica jail in the middle of Nottingham market square on Friday evening. Tiggz Dat Author was erecting his gazebo, so I went to introduce myself to him and ask what was happening.
Tiggz told me he was going to have a party for all the youngsters of the city, he wanted to promote a message of hope and try to influence children away from crime, poverty and abuse. Tiggz told me he had spent time in prison and had found God and wanted to share positivity.
Tiggz had been asked to move on by the Police, but was refusing to leave. Tiggz was happy to be part of my strangers project and struck up the pose you see in the photo for all the photos I took of him.
I gave Tiggz a card and he emailed me straight away, saying the photos would be great for his profile.
I don’t know what my 6 month old granddaughter thought of the meeting, I shot the photos with camera in one hand and pram in the other hand. I normally shoot strangers with my whippet in the other hand, so quite a departure from the norm for me.
@marlboromaam thanks maggie, Tiggz didn't appear to have any official authorisation to do what he was doing , he just set up camp in the middle of the city centre !
I wonder how long he got to stay...his message is good. maybe he'll think about getting permission next time? nonetheless a good portrait and the vehicle gives some context
I thought there was a bike, possibly professional, going on when I saw his gear. Beautiful capture and I hope he wasn't finished at the Police Station under arrest for disobeying the police.

Hi everyone thanks for your comments. Tiggz left at 5pm on Saturday, so probably less than 24 hours since his arrival. I am not sure how successful his event was . We have rules and conditions about working with children which the council would without doubt check .
