I completely agree with you about the colours. It does remind me of the big galleons wth their gunports open. Well spotted and a very nice shot.

Had to google the corner house, but now having looked at a picture I see which part of the building this is. It does look a bit ship like here. I haven’t been shopping in Nottingham for quite a few years, so I would imagine there have been quite a few changes.
