On Easter Monday, I went to watch my team, Bolton Wanderers, play Stockport County.
The match was actually live on Sky Sports TV, but if possible I prefer to watch the match at the stadium rather than on TV.
When Sky TV show EFL League 1 matches they are usually a 12.30 Kick off.
So I left Nottingham at 08.30 and drove to Bolton
I parked up (I street park about a mile from the ground) and was really pleased to get a prime position at the front of the street. I ate some sandwiches in the car and thought to myself, there's not many people walking to the ground.
I got my phone out and checked the fixtures, "Oh no ....it's 15.00 kick off"
I rang Jane and said I will be late home !!!!
So I had a walk around the ground, took some photos of the Nat Lofthouse statue outside the stadium, went for a coffee on the adjacent retail park, took some more photos and then met up with my mate Alan !
As for the game, a high tempo 2-2 draw in front of nearly 24,000 fans
I started 365 at the end of January 2011
