Field of Gold by phil_sandford

Field of Gold

Less than a mile from Oxburgh, on the road to our weekend accommodation, I suddenly noticed a field of sunflowers. Nothing to say why they were there, probably half an acre or so, densely planted.

Stopped the car in a wet and muddy layby where Carole and I put them to good use for photographic subjects.

Oh how beautiful is that! Wonderful capture, fav

We were just so fortunate to have take the road we did to find this little gem. It's not sign-posted, so as I said, no idea why there's a field of sunflowers growing in North Norfolk (not that I'm complaining)
