I think, after we cleaned the table and sideboard and put them back in position and then cleaned the chairs, we have decided that I’m not going to wallpaper the wall to the right of this photograph. It’s ‘paste the wall’ and I’ve never done that before (was planning on watching a ton of You Tube videos) but I think Carole has now decided she quite likes the paintwork as it is. (Prob should have done this sequence in colour and not black n white).
Today I’ve painted the coving and glossed the windowsill. New carpet will poss wait until next month.
Carole and I now appear to be in full ‘march out’ mode (and only UK Forces or ex UK Forces will understand that term) as we’ve started ro spring clean the house.

I think the room looks lovely. Sometimes have blank walls is like negative space in photography. OR....look at all that space where you can print and show off your photos.
Maybe post all your handiwork in colour now it is finished. We were in 'march out' mode a couple of years ago, but only with part of the house when we decorated our bedroom, lounge room, dining room and passageway. The rest is still on the list.
