We’ve spent the day with my brother & Sister in Law (Caroles brother) as it is his birthday today. We planned to take them for lunch and then go to Bradgate Park. Unfortunately, after a week of glorious sunshine and heat, the weather turned last night and today has been mainly wet.
After lunch, and a cup of tea at Mick & Yvonne’s, on our way home, Carole suggested a detour to Loughborough (her birth & home town). Sun had come out (finally) and we spent an hour or so in Queen’s Park.
