Gold (Hovis) Hill, Shaftesbury

Okay. Hands up all of you who thought this hill, famous for the Hovis Bread advert, was in Yorkshire?
Nope, it's in Shaftesbury, Dorset.

Gold Hill is a steep cobbled street in the town of Shaftesbury in the English county of Dorset. It is famous for its picturesque appearance; the view looking down from the top of the street has been described as "one of the most romantic sights in England."

@30pics4jackiesdiamond thank you. Weather was wet, miserable and very low cloud. In colour the photograph looked totally wasned out. Thought about B&W to reduce that negative wffect and, then, exactly that Jackie, I chosenSepia for the brown bread.
