Not long home from 24 hours at @carole_sandford's childhood stamping ground of Loughborough.
We called into Bradgate Park to try and find some of the Red or Fallow Deer that roam wild there. With the Fallow making up some 75% of the deer population in the park, I was stunned to see this magnificent specimin, a mature Red Deer Stag, calmly walking across the skyline; even more so when he stopped, turned his head and stared at me. Loads of pictures taken of the Fallow Deer we found in one of the woods, but this pic has to be the one for today.
