New Moon

After the fuss of last month's 'super moon' where it was the closest it's been in many a year, the last couple of days has seen the return of the New Moon; the clear skies have provided great photo opportunities.

Fabulous capture. I saw this fantastic moon as we were driving home but unfortunately when we did get home and I had access to my big camera the moon was no longer visible. I'm pleased you managed a picture Phil.

@photobird Thank you. The PowerShot has a superb zoom (for a bridge) far better than my EOS so for my moon shots, I'll always use the PowerShot, on Tripod, controlled by iPhone (to lessen shake) and then I'll hope for the best 😜
