Another for the ‘Flash of Red’ February challenge.
This week sees the flashofred2018 challenge move back to the 'compositional elements' of photography. My reading on this subject is from this site; very educational.
With the weather being so horrendous today, I've had to use the lightbox again and play with some dice I bought for this month (they're actually red and were going to be my 'flash of red' photograph on the 14th but it didn't turn out like that) and resort to the 'rule of thirds' again.
I've managed to get the black actually black by not turning the bulb on, so I guess this was taken in just a box, not a 'light box.'
Thats the problem with red, its a boring grey in monochromatic!! Wonder if you'd had / cropped the dice more to left, negative space to the right more powerful and the left third completely full?
