Had no clue what 'Tilt Shift' was when I read about it on the One Week Challenge; however Google is 'our friend' and after reading a number of articles as to what it is, I realised that my Canon PowerShot had a 'miniature' setting and that what Google was saying about 'tilt shift' was exactly what that setting did on the camera. I told Carole that her Powershot would have the same seting.
So, this morning a drive into Lincoln, right to the top of a multi-storey car park (ignoring all the empty spaces, with people looking strangely at us) and abandoning the car looking for decent 'street shots' as Google said the best 'tilt shift' photographs are from 'above.'
Here's mine - and it really does look like a model.

This turned out so well - that extra height was a great hint. And you did this on your Canon? Excellent - mine might turn out better than I was expecting. They are such a good little camera. Cheers Rob
