As Carole has said, we took a drive into Newark today; a town I drive either around (or through, depending on traffic conditions on its by-pass) but have never actually parked up and walked around. Carole also mentioned, that the car dealership I've used since 2003 went into receivership last week and I needed to touch base with the nearest alternative (a pleasant surprise, as the general manager of the new place 'was' the general manager of the place that has gone bust)
