One of last year's Dahlias blooming; this is a dwarf and was hidden behind 3 of the new, taller, Dahlias that are yet to blossom. It was pointed out to me by Carole as I hadn't seen it.
All of the Dahlias took a battering from last Friday's thunderstorm; I've had to do some running repairs, emergency staking and, sadly, some pretty brutal pruning. They're still some way off full bloom, so hopefully we haven't lost that many
