Today marks the end of my second year on this journey with my camera.
I still didn’t manage to ‘take’ a photograph every day (and due to the nature of my work, where even phones with cameras are banned, I have realised somedays I won’t be able to) and on some occasions this year, I couldn’t even ‘post’ a picture each day, I have used far more ‘fillers’ than last year and I’ve accepted that my project will be what it will be.
Thank you, with all seriousness, to all who follow me and take a look at my offerings; a huge thank you to those who take the time to comment and of course to those who like a photo enough to ‘Fav’ it.
My highlight in year two was my Sunday ‘Canned Choir’ that made the Top Twenty - a bit of fun that appeared to resonate with many.
My photographic skills have certainly improved, but from many of the photographs I see on here from those I follow (and from my dips into the New Faces, TP and PP), I still have some way to go to be able to call myself a photographer.
Well done Phil. I always enjoy your photos. I think it’s important to just enjoy 365 and use it in a way that works for you. I’ve realised that taking/posting a photo every day is not the most important thing. Similarly I don’t comment as often as I’d like but I do enjoy commenting as often as I can. Here’s to another year 😁🥂
really colourful year - well done one your second year. it's still a huge achievement even if we can't get every done on every day, there is something fulfilling about that full calendar :)
Congratulations on beginning year three! I enjoy your photos a lot, I think life gets in the way of all of us in this wonderful community. Taking photos when we can and commenting and posting are all appreciated. I for one am thankful there are no rigid rules and we can enjoy this project at our own pace.
Congrats on completing year 2! A significant achievement!
You have done well working around all your obstacles along the way and I do not see any gaps. Fillers are totally acceptable!
Well done!
