Our regular Sparrowhawk swept in whilst I was on a conference call and topping up with coffee. The Passerine birds vanished in a flurry of feathers and the Sparrowhawk alighted in the trees and sat watching. It then flew onto the ground, walked around the shrubs, up onto the birdbath and then up onto the fence. A minute or so later it swooped into the bed and a few moments later flew off with a mouse in its claws (by then the battery in my PowerShot had died)
Can’t grow tired of capturing this delightful creature.
Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
Lovely DoF and beautiful bokeh.
