One Subject April #13

Yet another hard frost this morning, was -3°c at 0630. The Magnolia is suffering now and I’m seeing evidence of more blooms being burnt by the cold. Hopefully tonight won’t be as cold

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
This is why Magnolias are known as the tree of tears. Many years they are hit by frost.

Great captured the rough time of the magnolia. Frost is so hard on the new buds and flowers.

I didn't realise they suffered from the frost, but my patio magnolia has already started to fade and the flowers have gone brown. I can see a face here in this bud - can anyone else see it?

Such a shame about the frost. Our little dwarf magnolia has really suffered as have all the magnolias in the area.
