Right & Wrong

There are two ways of doing a scone, the right way and the wrong way. Here’s an example of both.

I also ate both and they tasted the same.

I’m sure it comes down to what is most aesthetically pleasing to an individual which may or may not be influenced by place of birth ie Devon or Cornwall 😊

@casablanca definitely one on the right !!
But one on the left does have two layers of cream sandwiching the jam!! So it's correct with added cream!!

Whichever way is the right way - taste just the same -- but for me , jam first then clotted cream on top is much more pleasing to look at -- and we always feast with our eyes !

( and an invite to heart attack for which your gp will be unable to see you, a paramedic will not get to until the call centre person had gone through the algorithm and you need to make an appointment for A&E - so drop the butter for your hearts safety sake!!) Xx
