Rule of Odds

I appear to be running a day behind .....

At first glance, this is breaking the rule of odds, with 4 large blooms; in actual fact, adding the buds yet to flower, there's 7 flowers in this shot.

We'll continue to enjoy the Dahlias until the first frost; UK Government Ministers are kind of hoping we don't get any, as it will lessen the impact on the huge increases (as much as 400% for some) in the cost of gas. Never thought I'd be pleased to be on oil.
