Took a day’s leave today; the plan was to get to Bradgate Park early, around 0800 and catch the deer rutting; Bradgate is a good hour and a half from us. Woke up at 0930, got up at 1030. Bradgate out of the window.

Decided to go into town, get a hair cut, do the monthly grocery shop and see what the afternoon brought. The afternoon brought a headache from hell (new glasses can’t come soon enough) and a couple of hours sleep.
