Australian bush

We headed to North-East Victoria this weekend and stayed with some friends at their farm just outside the township of Oxley. Being located near the King river the rear of the property provided countless photo opportunities - prolific birdlife, majestic gum trees and a dry creek bed - I could have spent hours exploring! This scene is typical of the views down on the river flats. You can see the markings of past flood levels on the trees.
Lovely picture, oozing with calm. I'd like to be there right now! Love the way the flood levels on the trees form a sort of horizon for the picture. Great shot!

These bush scenes are peaceful, but can be so busy too with amazing sounds from birds and animals. You only need one Kookaburra to start calling and 2-3 others will join in !!
These the places we like to camp so an easy Fav for me :)
