Love this Linda...I am off to Kendal as soon as my camera battery is charged up. I have pick up a top from White Stuff for my daughter. Going on my own so will have a wander down these streets...I know exactly where this is. Lovely shot.

A lovely street scene. My great aunt was matron at the boys' school there, and always used to bring me Kendal Mint Cake

@annika82 it is indeed, famous for its mint cake, which one of my very good friends owns one of the three factories who make it. The mountaineers take it with them to give them energy.
