Rust is the new surface to have...ours son in law is putting up a garden fence which will rust in time...it looks lovely now but as it rusts it’s supposed to be even nicer but I have my doubts which I have kept to myself!
@happypat hmm, I may agree with you. My civil engineer has shown me bridges that do this its called weathering steel. Not sure about it on a garden fence though.
