ringlets by pistache

ringlets

brought this echinacea into the house to photograph as i liked the way she was wearing her ringlets. the petals have folded over on themselves, prior to departing altogether. shot with the sweet 35 and added a topaz texture
Lovely - like the texture on this - would have made the bottle clear perhaps! fav

Fabulous. I've gone restricted on my account. It's warts and all documentary of life right now. Not to everyone's taste at all but as a longer term follower if you'd like to see I'll put you on the restricted list..... completely fine if you don't. Not for everyone!

She looks so sad....

I have been looking at this on and off, without having the chance to comment. I love the background texture that you have used, and the sharp contrasting detail and quirkiness of the petals.

love the simplicity here! And, as Sherry already said, there is some sadness over it. Beautiful, love it!

@maggiemae the minute i read your comment i wondered why i'd made the flower stand out so much, but not the bottle. it'll largely be because i still blunder about with layers and topaz not really knowing what i'm doing. thank you for the useful observation :)
@louannwarren @seattlite @kwind @elkereturns @888rachel @lyndamcg @joysabin @onewing @lynnz @dibzgreasley @tonygig @jesperani @kingstonroadcreative @wag864 @stimuloog @echomeier @helenhall @yoke
wow thank you so much for this wonderful response to her ladyship's ringlets. i think of her maybe as wistful rather than sad - though she looks pretty forlorn now, three days on ...
