some leading lines for the flash of red challenge. i enjoyed a lovely stroll round the gardens and house at polesden lacey in surrey. this beautiful house was owned by maggie greville, who became an important socialite of the edwardian era. she offered polesden to george vi and the queen mother for their honeymoon and they spent 10 days there. my mother is a volunteer flower arranger and it was fun to see her handiwork, and explore some of the secret rooms and passages of the house. the garden is a bit fallow at this time of year, but i liked this path leading to a wing of the establishment
What an imposing entrance way!

your people so perfectly placed - I wonder how long you waited and whether other people came along to spoil the clear run on those leading lines. A great leading lines shot Clare. Sounds like a fun trip.
