I like the neglected corners of Bletchley Park that have been untouched since 1945. Aside from the manor itself, this site has an air of "shabby chic" about it
I love your little snapshots. I had never before thought about shooting a wall, or brickwork or a dilapidated door but you turn them into such amazing shots, I find myself looking at things quite differently now. Thank you!!
You're right - I hope they don't 'restore' it too much - details like this give so much atmosphere to a place. Mind you, the dreaded buddleia may destroy it. Great detail on the bricks
Loving your decay shots - Bletchley Park was rescued as a national treasure just in time I think! My friend's grandfather was the manager of the whole site there during the war - not the academic stuff - the finding space etc. She says it's odd when she visits to see his face in a lot of the photos as like everybody else they didn't say much about it!
