Who knows where the time goes? by pistonbroke

Who knows where the time goes?

It’s late afternoon, on a fine autumn day. I’m in Wrest Park gardens, walking back towards the house, and the sun is bathing everything in golden light. The red creeper on the walls is glowing in the sunshine, but the shadows are deep as the afternoon draws on. A gentle wind blows towards the east, and the time on the clocktower is frozen at 6 minutes to 4
Love your treatment of this shot. FAV

Not ten to three then?! Lovely scene - not sure If I wouldn't maybe prefer to see this in a conventional orientation....................The light, detail and colours are beautiful!

@quietpurplehaze - Hi Hazel - thanks for your kind comments. Actually I have got a few shots of this at a more conventional angle, but it looks a bit static, probably because all aspects of the building are very "squared-off" (if you know what I mean). Thought I'd ring the changes and post the wobbly one!

looks a beautiful building & the red creeper gives it a very special decoration....you have tilted this to confuse us I think ...either that or you are falling over!!

This is very lovely - the warmth if the light, the colours of the different elements and the angle combine to make a beautiful shot

Those vines are stunning. I always love an angled shot. I do it a bunch in post editing too after I've taken the squared shot.
