@kwakefield hi Karla, thanks! The picture was taken with either my nikon d700 or my panasonic gh2. I can't remember as I was shooting with both on Monday when I took this, and it looks like the iPad stripped the exif data.

@bosschuster Yes! I've grown to love a good number of iPhone apps, and it's wonderful to use them now on a larger screen. Great for times when I'm hurting too much to sit at my computer.
April 28th, 2011
I like the processing on this, it's like you're looking into a magical world in a well.
April 28th, 2011
Moody and Awesome!
April 28th, 2011

April 28th, 2011
This is very cool editing! (fav) Was it all done on your ipad? I suppose I should read the thread, but I'm way too lazy for that. :D

Whoa, hard not to love this one......great editing on this amazing tree. I've been trying to win an ipad on quibids but I'm not having much luck I've convinced myself I really must have one but my husband is not being very supportive on this issue!

April 29th, 2011
The branches and the texture remind me of Sistine Chapel ceiling. Michelangelo would approve!

Wonderful wonderful processing. This would make a good book cover!
April 30th, 2011
Ohhh, textures! Wonderful job! Wonderful perspective.
April 30th, 2011
It doesn't need a title. Love the lighting and the processing. Thinking this might look cool printed on canvas.

May 3rd, 2011
This is so unbelievably awesome please school me on iPad photo apps I should be spending my hard earned dollars on should you be so kind.

@semrants Oh my, I have a ton I play with....the app store loves me! Among my faves are filterstorm (very powerful, like a mini photoshop almost), iris for ipad (cool filters, textures, lots of editing controls including layers and masks), vintage hd, diptic for montages, the freebie tiny planets for trippy fun, dynamic light for amazing faux hdr's.....
May 3rd, 2011
wonderful processing ...I will have to follow you now
