Jenn and I saw this little bobcat way out in a field on our Sunday drive...wasn't able to get a really good shot of him (too far away) so I filtered the hell out of the file and this is what you get!

@angievega Oh, they're harmless enough, pretty small as wildcats go. We could have ventured into the field a bit further but we didn't out of respect, not fear. When we walked a bit closer to a gate, he smoooshed himself down into the grass so that nothing but his ear tufts were showing! It's easy to see why so many people miss them! Experts at camouflage!
Hmmm, we don't have these in my neck of the freeways of Los Angeles! Darn! I'm sure a can of Fancy Feast would not suffice this Kitty! This looks so National Geographic or World Wildlife Federation! Awesomeness!
what a gorgeous creature! i think you did an amazing job of capturing his essence! I think they're here, in the Santa Monica Mtns, but I've never seen one. Thanks for your encouragement during this crazy time. Wow. What the hell was I thinking???? hahaha. one day at a time. . .baby steps. xo
Great capture... we have squirrels here in Connecticut! In your post did you try a dark vignette? On my montor all the edges are real hot. Maybe it's my system.
Fab . . . have missed your shots! There is apparently a small den on Kiawah Island, but I wasn't lucky enough to catch a glimpse, even on my cruise through the marshes . . . they're great!
What a great find and picture! I keep hoping to see and photograph these, along with Mountain Lions and Black Bears. Maybe I'll get the opportunity when I go camping at the end of August.
wow Heather what a capture!!! we have alot of them, but I can safely say the 13 years we have lived on the farm I have seen maybe 2.....they are very reclusive.....and the processing by the way is fab!!!
Seem to be missing quite a few of yours - trying to be a bit more controlled in terms of time spent on chatting on 365. How could i have missed this one? - Sara's just pointed it out. I love it and am just going to have to fav it!
