2 Pokey Things

Hmmm, that title is only marginally better than "thistle." Too late for these brain cells I think! I'm cheating a bit tonight....I took this picture last week, but I did a quick work-over in Photoshop so I'm thinking that counts. Hope you're having a fab weekend everyone!

Thanks as always for stopping by...your support means so much. 8 more to go, whoo-hoo!!!
They are like best buddies :) I like your processing magic as always

beautiful

A very nicely balanced picture with just the right coloured background for those delicate thistles, Heather. You turn the simplest objects into works of art. And hey, that title isn't bad - kind of crazy.

A fine example of what you can do if you know what you are doing and have what to do it with.

They remind me of people--prickly on the outside, but soft and fuzzy in the middle! :-)

Pokey things sounds good to me, and this is gorgeous! You are such an ace at processing. Your photos are fabulous to start, but then you turn them into art. Very cool. Really only 8 days? Wow. Will you continue?

@ellen Thanks Ellen. The frame is from onOne photo frame, a photoshop plugin that is fantastic. They have a free version too, highly recommend!

Stunning!

@aikimomm hey there phoebe! this frame was done using onOne Photoframe...I sent you a link awhile ago to the free version they have which you can download and install to Photoshop. The free version has 30 frames i think, not sure which ones, but their stuff is so good. Heres the link again: http://www.ononesoftware.com/products/photoframe-free/

I also used a texture layer beforehand which gives it that rich, deep, saturated look, plus adds a nice looking vignette. once my 365 is up i'm thinking i may put together a video tutorial for using textures, etc.

Fabulous processing, editing and everything else:)

Your project, your rules so whether you've taken it or edited that day doesn't matter. I love it. You're editing is always amazing xx

@pixelchix Many thanks, Heather; earlier on I was not able to upload onOne (no suprise there), but I'll try again.

@nikkers Not sure I want it ALL, but I sure could use any processing advice I can get. I'm laughably lousy at figuring out any of it!
