Hmmm, that title is only marginally better than "thistle." Too late for these brain cells I think! I'm cheating a bit tonight....I took this picture last week, but I did a quick work-over in Photoshop so I'm thinking that counts. Hope you're having a fab weekend everyone!
Thanks as always for stopping by...your support means so much. 8 more to go, whoo-hoo!!!
Soooo, after a successful go ‘round way back in 2011 and a couple lackluster attempts thereafter, I’m back....maybe. ;-)
Lastly, this place always rocked. So much...
A very nicely balanced picture with just the right coloured background for those delicate thistles, Heather. You turn the simplest objects into works of art. And hey, that title isn't bad - kind of crazy.
OK, so this is wonderful, Heather. Now: you say you did this in P-shop, which I sort of kind of get, so would you email me the steps for achieving this, please!?!
You do the hokey pokey and you get this great shot.........
Gee that Phoebe wants everything dont she......... send her instructions on how to peel an onion and see how long it takes her to figure it out............heheheheeh lol
Pokey things sounds good to me, and this is gorgeous! You are such an ace at processing. Your photos are fabulous to start, but then you turn them into art. Very cool. Really only 8 days? Wow. Will you continue?
Hi there sweetie! You know I´m a huge fan of your phtos and processing... these "two lil guys" are awesome! SOrry about not being around lately..lots of changes at work..driving me crazy..lol Hope you´re doing fine, dear. huge hug
@aikimomm hey there phoebe! this frame was done using onOne Photoframe...I sent you a link awhile ago to the free version they have which you can download and install to Photoshop. The free version has 30 frames i think, not sure which ones, but their stuff is so good. Heres the link again: http://www.ononesoftware.com/products/photoframe-free/
I also used a texture layer beforehand which gives it that rich, deep, saturated look, plus adds a nice looking vignette. once my 365 is up i'm thinking i may put together a video tutorial for using textures, etc.

@nikkers Not sure I want it ALL, but I sure could use any processing advice I can get. I'm laughably lousy at figuring out any of it!
