Curvaceous by pixelchix

Curvaceous

Processed on my iPhone using Tiny Planets (gave this flower its sensual curves), Filterstorm (curves, cloning, cropping, tone mapping, sharpening), Iris (texture blending), A+ Signature (watermarking), and finally Photo Effect Studio for the shadow frame.

Seriously, have I mentioned lately how much I love my iPhone and iPad?? So awesome for me on days when I'm in too much pain to sit at my desk and Photoshop.

G'night all! Or morning........afternoon.........
Amazing processing!

So sweet, love it! You could mirror the flower and create a heart shape, because hearts + flowers = PP ;-)
October 11th, 2011
@janmaki & if you add a cat your shot could be immortalised for ever on the PP :D

Seriously Heather this is as usual an amazing end product with awesome processing :) I bow down before your processing magnificence :D

This is just beyond beautiful, Heather. So sensuous. As I ponder purchasing an ipad which I consider a toy I could possibly live without I think of you and your marvelous work. . . . always inspiring. (Feeling any better these days?)

October 11th, 2011
@janmaki @sjodell OMG YES!!! And if the kitty was levitating with a dragonfly on it's nose while sitting in a puddle of rainbow water droplet crowns? Add a sweet bokeh texture and itd be perfect! I'd REALLY be immortalized on the PP! What would I do without you guys?

Off to borrow a kitty......

Wow Heather, this is really beautiful! You are the iPad queen!!! Tiny Planets is really cool. When I'm bored, I take my hubby's iPad and just convert all kinds of photos to see how they look. Some look neat and other not! Tis one is super wonderful!!!! A Fav.
October 11th, 2011
Stunningly artistic. The soft curved lines are very striking along with your processing. Fab!
October 11th, 2011
This is so elegant! Favvy for me!

I've been meaning to ask you about how you get your files into the iPad for the edits you do. Are the photos you work on taken with the iPhone or iPad so that they are already on-board so to speak? Or do you import them from a camera card and if so are they RAW or JPEG? Just wondering for the next trip I do... Thanks, Heather...
October 11th, 2011
love. love. love.
October 11th, 2011
@aspada hey amy. i use an app called "PhotoSynch" to move files back and forth (via wifi) from my home pc, iphone, and ipad. It works great! If I don't have access to wifi, I use the apple camera connection kit to upload pix directly onto my ipad...usually just choosing a few I want to work on. On trips I back the cards onto a separate backup device that has a hard drive in it and a reader built in so i can back up everything if i need to reuse the cards (although for important stuff I try to have enough cards so I don't reuse them on a trip so i have two backups).

i shoot both raw+jpeg, and i'm pretty sure its the jpeg that i monkey with on pictures brought it directly with the camera kit. It shows it's bringing both in but they are combines. If you shoot only raw, there are a few ipad editors like Filterstorm and i think PhotoForge 2 that will process the raws, but I imagine it would be pretty slow. I'll have to move a few on directly from my pc just to see how they're handled.

@aspada oh, forgot tot answer your question regarding what the pix were taken on: everything except the ipad camera which sucks! i shoot a lot of fun stuff with the iphone, but my serrious cameras are a Nikon D700 and a Panasonic GH2 (used a lot for video). If you have any other questions , please feel free to pick my brain!!
