This was taken on our way home from the snow, heading north from Jindabyne to Cooma. This stretch of road revealed to us a curious phenomenon: kilometres upon kilometres of these curious piles of huge boulders, resulting from thousands of years of erosion upon what were once hills. It was barren (and cold), but beautiful.
