up close

It's been a while since I did a reverse lens macro... @izayaa inspired me to after a brief chat about the technique :)

Now let me tell you, I am quite afraid of bees (it's probably irrational as I'm sure bees don't give a crap about me!), and reverse lens macro-ing means getting within centimetres of your subject... so of course my hands were shaky and I was Little Miss Jumpy and every time the bee moved I would freak out slightly... but after much persistence I think I got a shot worth posting!
