I still can't believe I managed this - or that Simba managed to stay still for longer than 3 seconds so I could actually take the photo!
I love the crazy patterns and bumps and textures that irises have - so cool :)
Just also wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you who continue to stick around and pay my humble project a visit :) I appreciate EVERY SINGLE comment and follow! :)
(I don't mean to shout, I just want to emphasise my gratefulness for all of you guys :D)

ha ha ha.... I tried to get a photo of a horses eye some time ago and ending out giving up... Now they have some strange looking eyes when you look close.
Impressive! Amazed you managed to get that. I struggle to get any decent shots of our kitty and would have no chance of getting a similar shot. Well done.
This is so amazing!! I have tried some eyephoto of my friend's neighbor's, but it is so playful and never stands still. I just love the DOF in this! fav!
Really!
Beautiful eye close up.
