This is a stacked composite of 8 images taken with reverse lens macro using my 50mm f/1.4. The depth of focus of this lens wide open is very narrow, so I took multiple images at slightly differing depths (I had to hold my breath for a while!!!), then manually merged them in Photoshop.
It's my first proper attempt at a macro stack... let me know what you think :)
As for a life update - In the wake of finishing uni and graduation, I am feeling up and down in terms of mood/motivation. Job searching is difficult. It gets discouraging at times. I've gotten a few calls, but it's all about waiting. And, randomly, I did something grown-up last week - I signed up for private health insurance. xD My web design business is going okay but let's just say I've had my fair share of... odd clients this year. Like, insane. I think I need a break from crazy for a little while...

I use a P&S and have no idea what stacking is, but I sure do appreciate the end result. Fav.
