On our first trip together, Chris and I bought a very touristy souvenir frame (even though we were overly about 130km from home) and ever since, photo frames have been out souvenir of choice when we travel. We've got a bit of a collection now, but no amount of searching in person or asking friends or even digging online led is to find one from Christopher's favourite place we've been-- Regina. A couple years ago I ordered this one for him from a printing website; the photos "collaged" around the frame are ones I took on our first trip to Regina. Clockwise from the top centre, they show: the view from the apartment we rented on that trip, a banner at the RCMP training depot, the city coat of arms, sunset in Wascana Park, the "I ❤️ Regina" sign, a fence painted with the flags of Canada and Saskatchewan, and the equestrian statue of Queen Elizabeth II outside of the provincial legislature.
