They came from a drive-through restaurant so technically everything there is to go, but still... lol.
In my mind, tater tots are a very American food-- you can buy them here too, but if media is to be believed they seem like much more of a "thing" in the States! But I guess they're having a moment here right now, because two fast food places that I know of (a small regional chain called Fast Eddie's and a national pizza chain called Pizza Pizza) are featuring them on their menus right now. As it turns out, Chris is a fan of tater tots-- something that I don't believe had ever come up in the first 14 years we knew each other-- so we grabbed some drive-through tots in celebration of Tater Tot Day. We ate them at a lookout by the river, but stayed in the car where it was *not* well below freezing!
