Chris suggested a Ukrainian Orthodox Church today, since today was Orthodox Easter and an Easter truce was declared in the war between Russia and Ukraine. There is only one Ukrainian Orthodox church in our region, so that made it an easy choice! On the back side of the church's entryway is one of it's distinguishing features-- a big neon Orthodox cross, but it wasn't turned on today (or this evening, we checked back). I wandered around and tried some different angles attempting to find the best way to photograph this little church; eventually I settled on taking a shot from across the road so you can see how it's become nestled in amongst bigger, more modern buildings as the city has grown around it.
