Burnt Out or On Fire?

Reality may show one thing but the shadow reveals something else. I had saved this burnt-out bulb for a day when I need something to take a picture of ;-) It turns out to be made in the Philippines (printed on it). Hope it is not a sign.
What a good idea for a picture.

Nice idea and nicely executed. I had a bulb picture in mind for today as well - I might postpone it for a day or two though.

what a clever way to play with a shadow and I like your descriptions. It makes me think, think hard.

Very clever idea. It is amazing how clear the glass looks to the naked eye, but looking at the shadow the glass looks very flawed.

@jennwithtwons @steampowered @yaorenliu @ziggy77 @digitalrn @tuya @sbolden @skipt07 @hjv @120913 @psychographer @jodimuli thanks for your comments. I was not so sure if this is different enough from other light bulb ideas :-). Joey, sorry to hear about your lumix. I still like mine for zooming since I do not have to change lenses, not great for night action but I use my Canon SL1 for that now that I figured my manual settings!
