La vieille dame, la porte bleue et le cyclomoteur-filler

I have so many shots from France that I like and want to share that I'm actually finding it quite hard to choose. This was taken in Rennes. I have another shot of this lady just as she started to emerge through the door but I preferred this composition.

Here's another shot I took whilst out on a walk with my daughter.

I think you are very fluent in French , have you been to France many times? I have been there a few times and can't speak French to save myself!

Wonderful shot. There is so much in this shot, yet it all goes together. There is a depth (meaning wise) to this shot to. It makes me stop and think. For example: the contrast between the woman's "old fashioned" dress and the "modern" cycles.

Fantastic candid shot. Love the juxtaposition of the elderly woman coming out of big, faded doors with the sleek, shiny, new motor parked on the side.
