Chili harvest

I can't believe how many hot chilies I have on the bush- it has to be my best success in the garden. Any suggestions as to how to preserve them?
They are in a beautiful camphor laurel bowl my son made.
Certainly a feast of colour! Not sure how you would preserve them though.

Beautiful shot. My wife puts them in a plastic bag in the freezer.

oh yum! I love chilli - have a few different heats growing - some doing better than others - I freeze the excess in snap lock bags

Sweet chilli sauce? My BiL haha lot of mild chillis which he pickled. I tend to freeze them.

I love the editing. I just love sweet chi9lli sauce. I suppose there must be lots of advice on Google telling you how to preserve them though. Maybe you can freeze them.

Fabulous shot of your great harvest. Love the processing too. How about stuffing some with cream cheese and baking them?

oh yes - you can store them in olive oil and then they are ready to cook with :)

They are quite lovely. Some people string peppers and hand them up to dry. You probably could freeze them, too. I do that with sweet peppers.

pickle with salt water would maintain its flavor I thought, but never done it myself.
