Barn owl

This is again from the Alice Springs bird show. If memory serves, its a barn owl and was silent as a ghost. You wouldn't hear it coming if you were a juicy little mouse!
Although the photo is about the owl, I couldn't quite bear to crop out all the beautiful tree, what do you think? Should I have cropped harder?

@teodw I've got a great adaptor so I can use my Canon lenses. Also recently bought a Sigma Art lens with Sony fitting that I'm pretty happy with.
