Mystery

I flew out of Canberra this afternoon. The countryside dry, brown and crispy.
An hour or so later approaching MELBOURNE and green rolling hills! Couldn’t believe the contrast, then spotted this crazy 4x4 grid- no idea!!

It's a new twist on crop swirls. The aliens were getting bored. No matter what- it's quite beautiful.
