We had just packed away the drone, when look what turned up a pod of Dolphins! We counted 6 or 7 dolphins from a normal persons sea level point of view, and then this from the skies after we relaunched the drone. 19 Dolphin!! A couple are a bit difficult to see in this shot as they ducked under another.
What a magic opportunity! Can you spot the calf with its mum in the centre? In other shots it was swimming underneath her.
@pusspup Yours is larger /heavier (907 grams vs. 507) and yours has a 1" 20 MP sensor vs. 1/2" 48 MP sensor. I'm just hoping I can fly the thing and shoot pictures... I'm guessing it will take some time to figure out so I plan on taking it slowly and praying not to crash it!
It must have been exciting to view that photo and realize what you had actually been looking at. I have a Protocol- Dronium 3X that my sister passed on to me, but I haven't attempted to learn how to fly and use it yet.
@julienne1 @gilbertwood thank you glad you enjoyed!
@maggiemae of course you know that they are not actually fish:)
@onewing thanks Babs;very kind of you to say so.
@777margo we were so lucky, and also lucky that both our phones could operate the drone as Wylie 2's was flat by then!
@louannwarren @dutchothotmailcom @pistache @mjmaven @merrelyn @mittens @fbailey @happysnaps @koalagardens @4rky @jamibann @ludwigsdiana @randystreat @sunnygirl @elatedpixie thank you all for your enthusiasm, we were so excited when they turned up so close and the seas were so calm - perfect conditions.
@annied so sweet to see it protected there!
