Canola

While I was back in Canola land (see yesterday) I thought I would try the luminance masking techniques I'm learning from Steve Arnold (Photo Mastery Club). I prefer this version to the one I did just in LR.

Nice contrast on the landscape. Masks are difficult to think in initially, but seeing how experienced people use them...... Worth the curve!

hmmm luminance masking - need to google that. well it seems to have worked pretty wonderfully here, and your composition is great with those fir spikes punctuating the horizon

I think LR doesn't have the tools for serious editing and processing that other programs do. It does a great job for quick editing, though. This is a lovely capture of those yellow fields.
