ANZAC day

Today we commemorate a particularly bloody battle from WWI where the Aussies and Kiwis were slaughtered in Turkey (Gallipoli).
In memoriam, I'm posting this painted silo from last year, a pano constructed from 4 shots to get the whole thing in.
I can't say that I was up at dawn for the service, but have done in the past. Its cold and dark!

Appropriate tribute in so many ways. So many of those who fought at Gallipoli, including my grandfather, came from country towns such as this, now struggling to keep themselves alive with new ventures like silo art.
