Trametes versicolor ( Turkey tails )

``Elf banch``. So once upon the thime there was an elf working in the woods .........
Very pretty; and a very autumn look. Lovely pic.

Hi Pyrrhula. I have missed seeing your pictures. I was out of town caring for my Mom for a few days. I love this picture. The fungus does kind of look like little Elf Benches. Very nice.

The light on the fungus is beautifull.

What a beautiful and perfect autumn scene you captured here! I've never seen a log with so much fungus, and I love the fanciful way you call them "Elf Benches"! This looks like it could be in a children's story about elves!

A reality of an autumn - saprophyte fungi are working and make beautiful compositions, your photo is a perfect autumn picture.
